At St. Joseph we have a number of volunteer opportunities. Our Hospitality group helps create an atmosphere that is welcoming to all who join our community.
Whether they are long time parishioners, new to our Church family, or stepping foot into the Catholic Faith for the first time, you are able to bring added comfort to those who seek to deepen their Faith through prayer groups, retreats, and faith formation classes.Hospitality volunteering is flexibile, it does not have to be a major time commitment. We ask for your time to do simple set up, start a pot of coffee, bake a treat to share, or make sure the Faith Formation building is tidy for the next group.
We have scheduled meetings that you can sign up for in advance to accommodate the days that work best for you. We also have moments where a surprise opportunity allows us to host where an "on call" option is also available to help out. Simply fill out the below form so we are able to gather your information. You are such a gift to St. Joseph! Thank you for the ways that you served the parish community. Are you able to help out with hospitality ministry this year?
We have a number of different classes happening in the Faith Formation ministries. We try to provide a snack to those attending to help them feel more at home. We have created a signup genius form for a couple of our sessions that meet regularly throughout the year. If you are interested in providing hospitality you can simply follow the link below and see what day/time works best for you.You can click on the link below and sign up for a time slot or two!Monday Nights - If you could drop off a snack for approx 12 people at the Parish Office before 3:00pm that would be great!Sunday Mornings - This is a little bigger commitment. Approximately 24 people attend this session. If you could help set up, start coffee and clean up that would be much appreciated. The session starts at 9:30am and runs to 10:45am. If you could come early and prep for the meeting prior to 9:10am this way when people show up early that they can grab a coffee and snack and be ready to start promptly at 9:30am. You can start cleaning up prior to the meeting's end if you wish to attend the 11:00am Mass.We appreciate your help; what a beautiful thing to welcome other members of our community with such generous hospitality!
